Install IPCOp

To install IPCOP, we can download the ISO in its view it here or on the official website IPCOP.ORG. Once downloaded, please Burn ISO files to CD-it and booting the computer using the CD is Ipcop. This should be the computer that is installed will have to use ipcop Lancard 2. If less than 2, then IPcop can not run on this computer.

IPCop akan contain feature for proxy, firewalls, and various other facilities. And to that must be available at least 2 Lancard (GREEN and RED) to be able to function normally.

Select a course for automatic probe detect Lancard. Then choose IPcop akan GREEN interface first. Select Address Settings for RED link and enter the IP we have the RED interface to the ISP or the modem or router. After that we will return to the beginning again.

After that we choose to stay filled DNS and Gateway settings. Fill us in accordance with the DNS that the ISP we use and navigate to the IP gateway or IP Modem Router ISP us. After that we are DONE and we continue the process of installation to the following:

In this section we do not have to sign on the DHCP server (if not using DHCP). But we should press cancel because it will cause the installation process stops before the road ends. Simply select OK to continue even if it does not need anything on this menu.

After that we will be 3x password as follows:

That is asked for the ROOT password, ADMIN, and Backup. We should record the good password that we provide here. After completing this 3 password (each diisikan 2x) then IPCOP installation process is complete.

Once the process is complete, please reboot IPCop (a reboot command). After that we can make access to IPCop using WebBrowser way:

Things that we have the settings are:
